Senior Associate – Corporate, Commercial & M&A
We are seeking an ambitious Senior Corporate Associate with 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in cross-border M&A, private equity investments, joint ventures, and high-level commercial drafting.
Key Requirements
- LL.B. in Law with high academic distinction; LL.M. from a leading UK/US institution strongly preferred.
- 5–8 years of corporate transactional experience at a leading corporate law firm.
- Admitted to the Jordanian Bar Association.
- Fluency in written and spoken legal English and Arabic is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex due diligence audits and draft definitive SPAs and SHAs.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead legal due diligence workstreams and draft comprehensive vendor and buy-side reports.
- Draft and negotiate share purchase agreements, joint venture pacts, and board charters.
- Liaise directly with the Ministry of Investment and the Companies Control Directorate.
- Mentor junior associates and trainees in corporate transaction execution.
Associate – Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Looking for a dedicated litigation associate with 3–5 years of court advocacy experience in commercial, banking, and real estate litigation before Jordanian courts.
Key Requirements
- LL.B. in Law from an accredited university.
- Licensed practicing lawyer with the Jordanian Bar Association.
- 3–5 years of commercial litigation and judicial filing experience.
- Strong research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills in Arabic; professional working proficiency in English.
Core Responsibilities
- Draft statements of claim, defense briefs, appeals, and cassation petitions.
- Attend court hearings and manage expert witness examination proceedings.
- Prepare urgent conservatory attachment motions and execute court judgments.
